I’ve been happy with the broadband up to now. The speed has been really good, downloads finish quickly, and streaming doesn’t buffer much at all. To be fair, I can only speak from my own experience so far, but it’s been solid for what I need

I’ve been with Virgin Media for a few months now, and to be fair, the price is decent for what I’m getting. The speed has mostly been solid, and the bundle worked out cheaper than what I had before, so I can’t really complain too much on value. That said, when I’ve had small issues or questions, it’s felt like I’m just left waiting or not really being listened to. It’s not perfect all the time, but for the money, I’m still mostly happy with it. Just wish it felt a bit more like they actually noticed their customers.

Just a heads up for anyone considering them, my issue wasn’t dealt with properly until I complained. It did get sorted in the end, but I shouldn’t have had to chase it like that. Be prepared to speak up if something goes wrong

I had an issue with my broadband, but the support guy got it sorted quickly. He explained everything in a simple way and was really patient the whole time, which I appreciated.

"As a screen reader user, I was disappointed"
I’ll admit I’m probably a bit more sensitive to accessibility stuff than the average person because I rely on a screen reader every day, but the support here really let me down. I ran into issues and couldn’t get the kind of help I needed to actually resolve them. It felt like accessibility wasn’t really being taken seriously, which was frustrating.

"Engineer was great once I finally got one booked"
Had a Virgin Media engineer round today because our WiFi kept cutting out. To be fair, he turned up within the time slot, was polite, and explained what he was doing without making it sound like I needed an IT degree to follow along, which was a pleasant surprise. He changed a bit of kit and moved the router a little, and it’s already working much better. I’d have given 5 stars, but getting the appointment sorted in the first place took longer than it really should have. Still, the engineer himself was great

"Got Charged Extra and Support Was Slow"
I ended up getting charged extra twice and it was frustrating because I had to reach out to support and then wait forever for them to actually get back to me, so the whole thing just felt like way more hassle than it should’ve been.

The connection has been steady for me overall, so I can’t complain too much. I’ve only had a couple of short drops recently, but it does make me wonder if something changed on their end that they’re not really mentioning. It’s not perfect, but for the most part it’s been fine.

"Signal has gotten really bad lately"
I’ve been with Virgin Mobile for a while now, but the signal lately has been, uh, awful. My calls keep dropping, data barely loads half the time, and whenever I contact support they just tell me to restart my phone. For what I’m paying, it really doesn’t feel good enough.

"Heads up: outage happened, but they did fix it"
Just a warning for anyone considering them: we had an outage and it was definitely frustrating while it lasted. That said, they did get it fixed the same day, so it wasn’t a total disaster. Still, it’s something to be aware of if you really depend on consistent service.

I’ve had Virgin Media for a few weeks now and the router’s been just really good. The Wi-Fi reaches all around the house, even upstairs where my old one used to struggle. Speeds have been steady and I haven’t had any random dropouts yet. Happy with it, to be honest.

"Watch your bill closely"
Just a heads up for anyone using them: they’re not very clear when changes are made. I only found out something had changed after my bill was already different. It would’ve been nice to get a clear explanation beforehand instead of having to catch it after the fact.

From what I remember using it, the channels would freeze often and the sound kept cutting in and out. It got frustrating after a while because it wasn’t just a one-time thing — it seemed to happen constantly whenever I tried to watch.

I moved house and decided to take Virgin Media with me, it was straightforward. Booking the move was easy enough, and the advisor I spoke to was friendly, talked me through what would happen, and gave me the dates clearly.
The engineer turned up when expected and had everything working again quickly. The only annoying bit was waiting on the phone for a while to confirm a few things, but apart from that, it all went fine, and my broadband was back on the same day.

"Felt Like They Just Wouldn’t Listen"
I tried to cancel my Virgin Media contract it was such a painful experience. I was bounced between chat and phone support, and even though I kept saying I just wanted to leave, they kept pushing new deals at me instead. It really felt like I was being ignored the whole time. Something that should’ve been quick and simple ended up taking way too long, and it’s definitely put me off ever going back

The sales team was helpful, which I appreciated. The renewal process did take a bit longer than I expected, to be honest, but in the end I got a decent deal, so I’m happy enough with how it worked out
